You are cordially invited to attend and participate in 4th meeting for  our continuous review of needs and goals set for this year 2020-2021  The District Needs Assessment (DNA) & District Improvement Plan (DIP) review on the areas of

1 Demographics - 2 Student Achievement- 3 School Culture and Climate- 4 Staff Quality, Recruitment, and retention- 5 Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment- 6 Family and Community and Involvement- 7 District/Campus Context and Organization- and 8 Technology

The SST District gets about1 million dollars in federal funds and over 3 million dollars in State Compensatory(SCE) funds. The SST-Discovery district gets about 1.4  million dollars in federal funds and over 3.8 million dollars in SCE. All of these funds are distributed among our campuses in Corpus Christi, Houston, and San Antonio schools; therefore we need parents to volunteer their time. Parents and community members, per Federal and State law, these meetings are required in order to get our additional funds for your child's learning. So, we need wonderful parents such as yourself to participate in our district review, planning, and amends in order for your Child's school and our districts to receive the additional funding for your child's education. We appreciate you and your valued time and input in our meetings.

Color The World with Character Drive

As the partners of ‘The Character Week’ initiative, we promote character education among all schools. We are all part of this initiative because we believe that the character development of a child is of the utmost importance.  Last year, we hosted a Texas wide Character Education Day Poster Drive and it was a huge success. This year, we plan to welcome all PreK-12 students’ entries from around the world. Join us in this endeavor and be a part of our ‘Coloring the World with CHARACTER’ initiative.
