SST Advancement is proud to serve our military families by providing support to parents and students.
SST Advancement welcomes our military families! We aim to provide support to our military families to help ease the challenges they face due to deployment and relocation. This page was created to provide you with valuable information to assist you.
Thank you for choosing our community. Our aim is to support you and your children, ease into our community and schools.
Simply provide a copy of a military order requiring your transfer to a military installation in or adjacent to the district’s attendance zone. The parent or guardian has up to 10 days from the arrival date specified in the order to provide SST Advancement with proof of residence.

Opportunities for Military-Connected Students
Step 2: You will be directed to the next page where you will enter your home address and select the school you are applying to.
Step 3: You will start your application and then submit.
- If you are applying for PreK, please review this page for additional information.
- To qualify for Kindergarten, your child must be 5 years of age on or before September 1st of the school year.
- To qualify for 1st grade, your child must be 6 years of age on or before September 1st of the school year.
Our campus teaches the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) curriculum established by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and codified in the Texas Administrative Code, Title 19 (19 TAC). Our students are also earning high school credit at our campus. Project Lead the way (PLTW) and Algebra I courses have been offered. Our campus earned all possible state distinctions in 2019 and became A-rated by TEA.
